tweater recommendation

hello im looking for a tweater that can play really loud and also midbase that can play loud all im looking for is loud and range i used to have twx6 but blew them due to wanting more they can play (1w/1m): 112 dB and are 240w rms. i think the range on them was pretty good but im looking for an upgrade if i could reach 120db that would be amazing if more is possible that would be amazing as well im looking for increased or similar range as well thanks for your help
also im looking for something that is reasonably priced not like 900 euro worth of speakers the twx6 costs 50 bucks or like 25 per speaker something similar

I'm no fan of tweeters (not tweaters) like that but I have a local friend that sells some very obnoxious ones.

thanks for the suggestion all though these tweeters max at 105db and 100w rms im looking for something more power and id like to be able to buy it in eu too this looks like a us sight allthough for the right tweeter id still buy from there

there is no db rating on ebay and i looked them up still no db rating based of how they look i dont think they play 110db

Those are bullet tweeters. Stereocilia demolishingly loud.

you're looking for a 120 db sensitive "tweater" that plays low and that handles 240 W?... lmfao

and it needs to be around 50 bucks

Jokes aside - the speaker you're asking for doesn't exist. Playing lower hurts sensitivity (increased xmax hurts sensitivity), increasing power handling also tends to hurt sensitivity (because the moving parts are heavier), and your current 112 db sensitivity speaker is already high. So there's something else that's the problem if it isn't loud enough.

Instead of trying to get a tweeter that plays lower, look at the rest of setup. You can get much better output from a speaker by having it play in a range it is comfortable in, and that doesn't just mean looking for speakers that play lower. It means letting your other speakers play higher. Being smarter about your crossover points. And if you want to have the loudest treble on Earth (which it seems you do lmao), I'd recommend adding a midrange to make the treble setup 3 way. Then you can get super sensitive bullet tweets which can't play below 3-5kHz and the dedicated mid speaker will pick up below that.

And the last step if you still haven't destroyed your hearing forever - add more speakers...

it dont need to be around 50 bucks 200 is fine if its a big step up but 1000 per tweeter is not fine

The closest to what you're looking for is a horn loaded compression driver. Stevens Audio sells them; look up Eric Stevens on Facebook. USD Audio also sells HLCDs (aka waveguides). I don't know if anybody else is selling car audio waveguides. Entry level you're going be paying ~$400/pr. You're going to need a pretty impressive midbass driver to keep up.

You cannot beat the quality and the output of Steven's Audio. True low fs rear chambered 150 watt RMS silk dome tweeters and 300 watt RMS 6.5 that is actually a midbass driver unlike almost every other pro-style midrange driver out there. 6" ($88), 8" ($98) or 10" ($159) take your pick:

Those are 8 ohm tweets. However, the sb388's will be the better of the two. Both are mainly designed for pro audio setups, but they will work in a car. just make sure you cross them over correctly.

These things need be aimed off axis if you ask me. Extremely obnoxious and nothing is stopping you fron adding another pair. I actually despise and avoid tweeters of this type due to the damage they can do. Bass is one thing but screaming mids and tweets destroy hearing. Why not build a mini-stunt wall and put it on top of your dash if your goal is pain and hearing loss?

Crossover points set right you'll be able to exceed rms and enjoy that fingernails on chalkboard sensation for a short while.

The fools will be runnin' away like a tap out if you ask me.
