I hv a question...in my sentra's trunk...

I'm planning to build a ported box for a 15" L7. But the local audio shop told me a seal box would be the best choice. I just care about the loudest...so I just want to know...a ported box inside my trunk would good or not...anybody hv this kind of installation?Plz share with me.

I attached my old MTX 12" pic of my trunk...it's seal...not loud enough....!!!!!!!!!!

15" L7-PORTED!!!

Get that 15" with a custom ported...2.5 cubic feet at the min i would say for the best sounding...

I have 2 12" L7s..only 1.9 cu ft each-but gets really loud..

go ported

R u putting it behind ur trunk???

sound deadening doesnt matter really sealed or ported, but ported willl be louder, maybe making more vibration if thats what your worried about? ide say go ported all the way!

Yeah...more virbration...and the bass will distord...I afraid of that.

Is that 35Hz is good for daily driving for the Kicker 15" L7?

I'm planning the ported box(slot) is 4.5 cu ft after displacement. But just wondering the tuning Hz!!!

Sound Deadening is very important for good bass. Depending on how much of your sheet metal is rattling you can lose up to 3db through resenation. That and you dont want to be the dumbass at the stoplight that all you can hear is the rattling of your trunk.

Oh yeah ported is the way to go for SPL.
