Trunk Setup Opinion?

I guess I should have given a bit more information with my suggestion. I have had several setups in my current car. I have had very good results sealing off from the trunk and port/subs facing forward. I gained 4.7 db by turning the box around and sealing it off. Same amp/sub/charging system/HU/etc... The trunk doesn't rattle anymore either. The subs also dig deeper and sound better to me.

The experiment was a huge win for me in many areas. I will accept the possibility that it was a fluke and I got lucky, but I would atleast experiment and try it both ways to find the best combination of attributes.

Well I dont really have the money/tools to experiment w/ this build :/ that's why I'm tryin to get it right from the start. But thanks for the input! Def something to keep in mind! Anyone else have input on this?

Idk much about bandpass enclosures but from what I hear they're only really good for burping and some rap

Id go a single 15 ported, sub up port back. No point of firing the sub(s) and port into the cabin w/ your trunk sealed off. No offense but its kinda weak equipment for all that.

well again, not tryn to hit any numbers... just lookin to do somethin a little different w/ the equipment I have so i can make a buck. I guess I'm doin one 15 ported but still, whats the advantage of the sub firing up in a trunk???
