OK i got a 92 saturn sl1 sedan, and every time i play my sub woofer ( 500watt jenson amp) (l000w blue wave sub) I just have ratteling. Now i've put insolation underneath the spare tire and it took away some ratteling, but there is still some left... any other things i should try?

thx

try putting the sound deadening substance along the sides of your trunk and on the top...also you should see if you can make your truck any tighter of a close....like where the latch is see if you can move the latch so that it closes a little tighter...that hsould help a little...good luck

k cool i will try it. I also have another question. everytime when im playin some good bass songs farely high, the light on my amp flickers. Does this mean not enough power going to it? ****** to much juice?

possibly...you also might try runing some bigger wire to the amp....how many watts does your amp put out rms right now and what size wire are you running to it??? that'll help us out a bit more....good luck

Alright I got all the wirng from an import shop, the guy said it was good enough for a 500watt amp and stuff so i baught it. But i'll try 4 gauge

you also might see about turning your gain down a little also what kind of car do you drive....the problem also might be that your alt. is not providing enough power for your system...good luck

i would advise going to 4 gauge....just as a precaution....i believe 8 gauge is only recomended for systems up to 150-200w.....good luck

You seem to be a pretty nice dude.

To OP: Try doing the Big 3 in 1/0, it may save you some money from upgrading your charging system.
