Trends that should end NOW

I have plenty of experience with probability theory...blegh worst class ever

So maybe we concentrate on refining the easy to pick out genes first? lol, I didn't say this theory was bulletproof...

I think selective breeding alone won't do much. A lot of what and how we do things is how we were raised/taught. We learn things from others and from freak accidents or incidences that bring about our curiosity. Along with the realization of necessity and the inventions that help us fulfill our needs. This is how we have been evolving not through physical and mental changes. Our inventions evolve so much faster then our race possibly can there is really no point to trying to have human evolution ecept out of personal curiosity/gain. Computers able to do everything practically flawlessly and faster then we possibly could. Also they don't exhaust.

You are talking about societal evolution due to technology, not human evolution.

True, but my point is that human evolution is pointless compared to technological evolution. We are now making machines/computers to do things for us, and their capabilities far exceed our possibilities for human evolution.

Technological advancement is definitely altering evolution, but it will not stop it. Or at least, our technology has not reached a point where we are above evolution yet.
