Transmission Line Enclosure for Boomintahoe

Keep in mind that the windows are not very large on that driver and airflow will be restricted due to the thick baffle if provisions aren't made.
Windows?? On a sub?? I think you need to put down the crack pipe down buddy.

True, but then the box would be really wide and/or deep. I'll let boomin comment though, it's going in his H/T setup, not mind //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
Do whatever it takes...

The openings that allow the rear wave to pass are often referred to as windows. If I were to build a baffle that was 1.5" thick for this style of basket I would be restricting the airflow if I didn't make necessary provisions . Maybe if you fucking prats weren't so concerned with launching little verbal assaults on people who offer helpful advise, you could learn something.

Never heard them called windows. Basket would be the more correct term. In all the yrs I've been into car audio, I've never heard that term referred to as "windows"...unless your talkin about computers/microsoft. I think Nick has things covered. Now, take your attitude and gtfo.

This is a tidbit from a Seas driver spec page;

An extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket to keep the critical components in

perfect alignment. Large windows in the basket both above and below the spider to reduce sound reflexion, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.

You see, the windows are integral to the basket design. The are essentially part of the basket even though they are the part where material doesn't exist. It's just a descriptive term. Learn it.

Let's also be clear as to who came at who with that attitude you stupid fuck. I made a simple suggestion without condescending to anyone or criticizing the design. You come back with the crack pipe bit. Stick that sharp tongue of yours right in my dirty, hairy sphincter.

*Awaits the inevitable faggot retort.*

Having that many 180 turns in the design is going to introduce resistive losses that could negatively effect the end result.

A taller/longer design with only one or two 180 turns would perform more accuratly to the design and would allow the driver to fit more easily.
