So I have a 2007 Mazda 6 with a stock audio system and I'm looking at moving my current sound system from my 1999 Ford F150 truck to this car. Everything in the car is stock and I plan on moving all of the following except the wiring(Power Wires, RCA wires, and speaker wires) and the deadening.
-Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X991
-08' RainbowSLC 265.25 Components w/ CAL25 Silk Tweeter
-Sundown SAX-100.2
-2x 12" Fi Q DVC 1
-Audioque 2200D
I plan on reusing the distribution blocks and fuse holders from the electrical that I installed on the truck. No new audio equipment is to be bought for the vehicle for a while but possible upgrades in the future include:
- Different/Possibly Bigger Subwoofers(A new box to go along with this.)
- Rear Component Set(Another pair of '08 Rainbow SLC's, wired to the same amplifier)
- Additional Subwoofer Amplifier(Audioque 2200d, used to power new bigger subwoofers)
- Ofcourse any electrical upgrades needed for this, new batteries, dry cycle batteries, ho alternators.
So with that out of the way, what I will need to buy for the car.
- Unfortunately a fairly expensive dash installation kit.(149.99)
- 2 6M RCA Cables(Krystal Kables @ knukonceptz).(40)
- Subwoofer/Speaker Wire(10 and 16awg).(11)
- Techflex For The Wire Insulation/Aesthetics.(12.30)
- Power Wire(1/0 for the Big 3, and Batt -> Dist. Blocks, 4awg, dist. block -> amps).(106)
- 1/0 Ring Terminals.(14)
- Battery Terminals.(38)
The 2x Fi Q's were in a 3.52ft^3 sealed enclosure in the truck, but since this car has a decent size-trunk I believe I could managed a bit more breathing room and a ported enclosure so we're looking at a 4.5-5.0ft^3 ported enclosure custom built.
Custom Built Box - 200-220
So we're looking at +- 620 to get the stuff needed to move this system over. Anything I'm missing here?
