Toyota Echo HU install help

My sister just bought an Echo, and wants me to put in her Alpine CD player.

The car came with an aftermarket tape deck, so an '03 Toyota wiring harness is taken care of. Do I need a dash kit? I don't see anything around the tape deck that looks anything more than trim. How do I remove the radio?

I took the ash tray out, and saw two screws that are attached to the trim surrounding the radio/cubby hole. Are those enough?

The car is really clean, so I do not want to damage anything, and would like to get in and out with the HU.
