ok..doin the big 3 with 1/0 gauge wire, either getting a 260a or 240a add-on alt so that i have my factory and my ho alt. now here is my question...i was thinkin of running two deep cell 690 cca battery and my everstar maxx under then hood. now should i do this?? would this help out with voltage and all that ?? or is it just a waste of money ?? if i do get two batts do i have to get an iso per batt or just one iso for the aux batts??

Do you want both alternators to charge both batteries? If not, connect your stock alternator to the everstart, and connect your H.O. alt to the deep cycles. I dont think you would need an isolator at all.

so i would just run the pos from ho alt to my aux batteries without an iso?? i thought that u always have to have an iso? sweet..less money

Only need an iso if you run one alt to charge all the batteries.
