Trigger Man!
Because he can't answer your actual question.
I answered the question. He is under powering his subs.

No he's not.I answered the question. He is under powering his subs.
No he's not.
Maybe, but that doesn't have anything to do with fusing power wire.I answered the question. He is under powering his subs.

Those subwoofers are only 600 watts rms for the 12" and 500 watts rms for the 10". The max is 1,000 for the 10" and 1,200 for the 12".
If someone asks "should I use a fuse?", and you respond with "you need a bigger amp", you didn't answer his question.I answered his fuse question already and he asked me why he needed a better sub amp. I answered his question. Is that a bad thing? He needs a little bigger amp. At least a 2K IMO.

Well 257 amps would absolutely blow a 250 fuse, so you are wrong about that.I answered his fuse question kid. And then I told him that he could use a better sub amp. Having fun yet?

Even if you were correct, there's no need to comment on his amp. Not to mention, you asked him what amp he has BEFORE you commented on the fuse.
"Kid"? Are we back on the playground? Just because you're old enough to be my dad doesn't mean I'm your kid.
I think you run shitty AB subs. Should I include that every time I reply to you or mention you? I assume you want to get the max out of your system.Well I assumed that he wanted to get the max out of his subs. My bad kid. Most bassheads who run H/O alternators and 1/0 wire usually want to get the max out of their system. Are you saying that Pop is wrong for telling him to run the 250a fuse?

No, he is not, he's just not maxing them out. If he is running the 10's they are 250-500w rms. What is your obsession with making people think they have to max their stuff out all the time? Maybe THIS person wants longevity out of this gear. Maybe this person wants bass but isn't interested, like you, in how they look to others.Yes he is. He's probably clamping 500 watts max. His subs can take 1,200 watts rms. Therefore, he is under powering them. It's simple math kid.

OP, your amplifier is fine. Put in the alternator and do a Big 3 upgrade. Those subs should last you a very long time if your gain is set correctly. If you need louder bass it would be smarter to upgrade the subs and amplifier if and when you grow out of these subs. These subs do have limits for the pair, I know this because I run a pair.
