I have an AB 110.1 on my HDC315, which does 2000 at 1 ohm.

I have the electrical for it. A couple 1400's and a 200 amp alt.

Just looking to get louder off the same power, I love the SQ of the HDC3 fyi.

Budget would be something not too high up there but high enough, like 500 is a safe number.

I'm going to do either 2 12s, 10s, or even an 18. Got about 5-6 cubes.

An idea i've had was to recone my 15 to an 18(which would be more cone area than 12s but would it still hit the highs like the 15 and be louder if tuned to 37, 38?).

I was thinking of doing a pair of either SSD or BL 10 or 12s.

Or 2 sdc2.5 12s or some DC lvls......countless possible ways. Opinions?

2-12'' LV4s, 2-12'' AQ SDCs, 15'' or 18'' LV4XL, 2-12'' DD 2500s, there are plenty of options out there

I'm first trying to find someone who has had an HDC3 15 and 18 cause i'm wondering the pros and cons to them when comparing them.

The lvl 4s sure have crossed my mind.....and the BLs.....have you ran only a 10 of those?

I love the SQ of my 15 and I want it to hit the highs as well as my 15 can so I hope tuning it around 38 will still hit them well. other than that, I just want more spl.

I've done a 10'' LV4XL, 10'' BL, 2-12'' LV4s w/ LV5 coils, 2-12'' LV4XLs. I've heard at least 6 setups with HDC3s, including a 15'' HDC3 on 2200w and it's **** nice for a single 15''.
