finally worked out a deal and got me some sound deadener. this will be my 1st time ever having some and i keep hearing about how it makes a big difference in your sound. I hope so. anywhooo...

i have about 25ft of AT 60mil coming in. My car is a Scion tC (more details in my sig)

What should i deaden first???

not sure if its enough for my trunk...well hatch...but I know I'd love to do my doors and rear panels.

guess my question is how far will 25ft of AT 60 mil go in a 2010 Scion tC?

I'm the one trading him the deadener. I think it will be enough to do your trunk pretty well. There's a thread in AT forum where Coleman recommends 20-25 ft to do a trunk. http://www.caraudio.com/forums/audio-technix/519718-how-much-deadener.html And that's being pretty generous w the deadening, you could get by w/ less.
ya, i just ran across that too. Im thinkin I'll have enough to either do my front doors and rear panels (which seem to be the noisiest place from my search) or I can do my trunk completely. Just gotta decide what im gonna do 1st

If you use it wisely it will go along way but if you go way over board then it will be gone quickly. 3-5 sq ft on each door will make a big difference. Then 5-7 sq ft for the back hatch. Then do the rear quarter panels and if you have any left you can start on the trunk floor. I would suggest cutting the roll into the the sq footage you want to use for each area so you can make the roll go as far as possible.
