time for a new car

Meh, was probably getting mixed up with the Altimas, because I was looking at them at the same time.
Just remember to look at Maximas after 2002 only, because that was the year they switched to the VQ35

The DE-k isn't a bad motor at all.

And the VQ30 is very solid as well.

I happen to LOVE my VQ30, but when it goes... I will be dropping the VQ35 in it's place.

well i dont think my parents will be able to help me on this what do i do. sounds pretty poopy on my part how do i go about financing for a car. Because i have 0 credit will they deny me i have a job hmmm im confused

Start building credit.

Or start looking at cars that are not so far up there in the price range.

You can buy (and build a nice little audio setup) in a 4th gen maxima for around $4.5K.

i have the money to buy the car its just my parents dont want me to spend my entire cd on a car

Please, don't buy a Miata haha... but a few cars you could get and would be happy with are:

Suburau WRX

Mazda Speed3

VW Jetta or Golf 1.8t

Saturn Redline

Mini S

Saab Turbos

Scions w/ Superchargers

Audi A4 1.8t

Lexus is250, 300, 350 or F series(faster)

Acura TL-S

Pontiac G5,6

Just beware that you don' buy anything that needs/ prefers premium gas.

I just skimmed an article that mentioned such vehicles are more common -- and sepcifically mentioned that this was the case wityh some of the newer Mazda's.

Of course this is easy enough to determine, just don't ovelook the issue.

Well unfortunately with the type of cars he is looking at (something quick but gas efficient) he is going to most likely need a v6 whcih will lower overall gas economy, or he will have to get a turbo or supercharged 4 which will get slightly better gas as long as you don't boost all the time, but most of those cars will require at least 91 octane gas because that is how the ecu is mapped...
