Can I please get opinion for both amps, please see rating below

HIFONICS ZRX20004 $198 3 KINGS

RMS Power Rating:

4 ohms: 250 watts x 4 chan.

2 ohms: 500 watts x 4 chan.

Bridged, 4 ohm: 1000 watts x 2 chan.

FUSE 40AX3 = 120A

PPI 900.4 $189

4 ohms: 145 watts x 4 chan.

2 ohms: 225 watts x 4 chan.

Bridged, 4 ohm: 450 watts x 2 chan.

45 + 35 = 80A

Thanks

I've sold many P900.4s and I keep them in stock as best as I can. Those huge 4-channel Class A/B amps can be a big pain in the *** to find a spot in your vehicle for them. They're also less efficient than a full range Class D amp, which is what the P900.4 is. For me and many of my customers those two reasons are very compelling.

I offer attentive, personal customer service and I also personally ship out every order.

I saw the Hifonics at Live Wire local audio shop here and that thing is huge but looks very impressive. If I have the space to run that ZRX i most likley will, I need to find a place to see if I can fit that.

I believe the fuse rating on the ppi is 105 total
It's 75 amps total.

Stay away from Soundigital if you care about sound quality. I'm saying this because of the built-in fan mainly. Those are annoying as hell and you will always hear it if the amp is inside the cabin.

the hifonics does no were near 250x4 at 4ohm.

the hifonics ratings are half of that they list. the zrx is the new hifi line and entry level.

however the zrx2000.4 is the board as the zxi150.4 but not the same components, so you can expect 140-150rms at 4ohm with 14.4v.

ppi isnt the same as the use to be but this amp the 900.4 is the same amp as the nvx JAD800.4 and polk d4000.4

the all come with the 0 to 4 reducers but i'm gonna keep 0 since i have so many 0 runs in my truck

Have you clamped the hifonics to give acurate numbers like these, a lot of people go by the fusing and the hifonics have a fuse rating of 120a, so you are saying with 120a the amp the most will only go $600 watts? and the 900.4 which fuse rating of 45a + 35a = 80a will almost have the same output?

I doubt it will do 250w per channel but 150w?

Bought a Zeus a few years ago at a Maxxsonics sale. 4x175 and it was huge. Powering a bunch of tweeters and it blew after a few days. Put in a Crescendo 1000C4 and it was WAY louder. Zeus stuff is garbage, wouldn't take one for free.

Got a PPI 600.2 from Trumpet the other day, **** little amp. Get the 900.4, you won't regret it...

no i never clamped it but i contacted hifonics bc the rms claim vs the price seemed to good to be true. especially the 3000d in this series. i was informed the 3000 isnt 3000rms (like it says) its only 1500, the 2000.4 is the same board as the zxi150.4 but cheaper components and should do closer to 150 rms per ch vs 250..

i knew it was to good to be true so i ended up getting a opti 250x4 on my mids and a opti 100x4 for my highs.

the opti was clamped at 232w per @ 4ohm at 12.6v, 263w per at 14.4

im at 14.9 so i know its pushing plenty but its 22 inches long vs the PPI. my 100x4 is another 15 inches long

might just keep it b/c it is an awesome 4ch but class d is so much smaller

Looks like you could raise the back seat maybe 2 to 2-1/2" use longer seat bolts and washers and frame/mold in the under carriage cavity of that...
