Yeah I caught that it's actually 67.4.
I actually thought about why I'm dead set on a 4 subwoofer system and I figured it out.
The point of 4 10's or 12's is to do something different for once.
I put a lot of work into tearing down, wiring, sound deadening, and modifying the car. While I'm sure the putting 2 of x $1000 subwoofer would be insanely loud, the satisfaction of building to my preference outweighs the reasoning behind going with 2 of x subs as opposed to 4. I'm equally invested in the build process, desired outcome of being loud enough to last for a little bit longer than normal, and the curiosity of whether I can actually build something of that magnitude that actually works. I didn't realize that the process would be so satisfying. That includes the discussions, doing the actual work and posting the results.
When I'm done and turn it on for the first time and hear it I'm probably going to pump a fist, shake my head, and laugh at myself because I actually did it and it worked.
And then start looking for an 06-08 Civic coupe with a sunroof that I can do myself.
That one will have 2 12's because I had one before this car and I never got to do a build for it and I wanted to. I'm already thinking about the Adire subs as an option for it. I'm already thinking about it. But I gotta finish this one first.
Idk if there's a name for people who like building systems because reasons but I'm sure that I'm hooked.
I'm sure someone's going to reply something to the effect that I've gone crazy but there it is,
