Thought 4 channel amp mounted in center console

Hey Guys, so my 4 channel amp is a soundtresam tn 4.900. Compact little amp. my intent was to put it closer to the front so it wouldn't be a ton of wire routing to all the front components and rear mid drivers. Unfortunately, I cant mount it under the fronts seats because they already have factory components under them that i need to keep in place. That said, I have a pretty wide open space in the center console. the amp actually fits in the mounting brackets for the cd changer that is coming out. Is that a terrible environment for the amp? The alternative would be running it to the back where the sub amp will eventually be

Full range class D can probably function in a tight spot like that. Hard to tell without testing really. Worst case scenario the amp goes into protect and you have to move it or add a couple fans down the road.
