Rockford Line Driver

I have stock radio so I use a Rockford Line driver. My question is how do I tune it? I know how to tune the amp with an oscilloscope, but if the line driver is turned up too high wouldn't it affect how the amp is tuned? The line driver has a light to show clipping but some songs clip some don't. I'm lost.

From my understanding you don't tune a line driver, I could be wrong but it's just to carry a clean signal and the clip light is there to let you know if your receiving a clipped signal just adjust the knob too an unclipped signal and your good to go I would believe
