Da fuq did I just read?
The fact that half of America is filled with retards shouldn't be news at this point I would think.
U mad.As a soldier who has spent 1 year+ more than 7,600miles from home, I just have to say that if you believe this country to be so terrible then please 1)kill yourself, or 2) leave. I surely dont care to fight for any ungrateful pompous prick, and I can assure you, neither do any of my brethren. If you were to actually make a choice (Which you wont, you just feel the need to be a **** and make a poor attempt at achieving an undeserved sense of superiority at the cost of other peoples faiths) you undoubtedly will not be missed.
Now, I agree with you that the PEOPLE within our country are a total loss. Wipe them all out and start over. Considering how much I despise 95% of the population (to include the social rejects such as yourself) I often find myself wondering why I chose the path in life that I have. P.S. I hate you.
That is all.
In U.S., 46% Hold Creationist View of Human Origins
Seriously, 46% of the US believes that God(the Christian one) created the human race sometime in the past 10,000 years? That's not saying that God created the universe, then helped(whatever that's supposed to mean) with evolution. That's saying that God created humanity less than 10,000 years ago, in its present form.
On top of that, creationists are lobbying to get references to evolution(human or otherwise) removed from textbooks because it forces them to defend their beliefs. Fuuuuuck that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif
Sounds like the Catholic church back in the day... Also being Christian doesn't mean you need to believe in creationist ideas.the sad truth to this is that you are stating that 54% of the population in this country no longer hold to firm Christian beliefs...which is obvious just by day to day observation of the complacency in our population....Govt corruption, greed, pride, acceptance of totally unethical practices..everything from lies to homosexuality...all brought upon by not being taught any better by parents...schools...you name it. That was the whole idea of the separation of church and state...to keep govt from regulating proper teaching.
Umad?My hostility has nothing to do with the content of our discussion. My hostility is aimed directly toward you and your demeanor in nearly every thread you post in. Like I said earlier, I never tried to pass off a theory as fact. I don't care about your beliefs, and I attacked you because your last post implied that I couldn't defend my argument. It's not that I can't, it's that I don't feel that I have to.
It's pretty great that you clearly have an agenda, though. I daresay I called that when you first started posting. "Oh, you're mad that I questioned your 'belief' that the universe was created by 'sciency things'? Sounds like a religion to meeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" I knew you were going to try to draw a parallel between religion and my understanding of science. That's what happens when someone talks about religion. People get mad, and start trying to pass off everything as a religion.
"Oh, you think Christianity is a farce? Well you eat eggs for breakfast don't you?! Why do you get defensive when people ask why you eat eggs?!?!?! Pot calling the kettle black hee hee!!"
Please pay attention to the fact that I never said that the big bang theory is a fact. I was merely showing you a few facts, and connecting them to a theory.
I didn't create this thread to argue with idiots about whether or not God popped the universe into existence a few thousand years ago, and I refuse to do so. There's no argument for creationism other than "Nuh uh, God did it." I don't enjoy trying to talk to a brick wall, so I'm done having this conversation with you. If you wish to continue, feel free to PM me and I might entertain you.
Seriously, I'm not responding to you after this post. You can continue to post garbage if you want, obviously.
you sir... are a tool. Are you honestly suggesting that if someone isnt religious that they are not moral??? i garuntee that i'm much more versed in "your" bible than you are, yet, i hate religion.... does that make me immoral?well, I never set foot in a Catholic church, I just know that OP was ridiculing to the first book in my Bible...and I figure the last book states that Jesus holds the keys to Heaven and Hades, therefore it is not for me to judge and punish...only to observe.
Fossil evidence shows early man (Neanderthal) to be about 250,000 years old. Modern man (**** Sapiens) is about 90,000 years and co existed with Neanderthals until about 60,000 BC.Can you prove it didn't?
Not saying I believe that 10,000 year line, but if you could prove positive that it did NOT happen that way it would put the whole thing to rest.
A very famous artifact from ancient Babalon known as the Seven Tablets of Creation depict the creation of our solar system in 7 "stages", in a sort of cosmic battle ultimately won by the Babalonian god Marduk. Since the Jews were captive in Babalon for 40 years, they adapted that story as their own and renamed the hero to be the Hebrew God.This. I am by all means a Christian, but ignorance of what we have learned does nothing for mankind or God. Science and faith can coincide, and actually perpetuate one another. The world is older than 10,000 years, it was also more than likely not created in 7 Earth days as experienced by humans.
i'd suggest u go back and read the Ten Commandments...the get back with me on thatyou sir... are a tool. Are you honestly suggesting that if someone isnt religious that they are not moral??? i garuntee that i'm much more versed in "your" bible than you are, yet, i hate religion.... does that make me immoral?
Ask anyone on this forum who really knows me, and you will hear different.
And, the most immoral people in history have been religious zealots. The vast majority of war, killing, and even genocide have been in the "name of religion"
if you need a religion to tell you how to be a moral person, then you are just weak minded and sad.
This kind of statement makes me lolz. So you are saying homosexuality is a choice and immoral. You obviously don't know any gay or lesbian people , they and any sane human who doesn't follow some crazy writings in a science fiction novel written 2000 years ago will tell you it's not their choice it's the way they were born , but I should expect these kind of closed minded views from a Texan. I myself am agnostic I hope there is a better place to go when I die but don't discard the possibility it just goes black. I also have no problems at all with religion being taught in school , but if so there should be equal time devoted to all religion. This is America NOT christian America. We are a diverse country with tons of different religions and if one is to be taught all should. Just remember the belief you get 72 virgins for a ******* bombing is no crazier than a man parting the seas and it raining frogs.the sad truth to this is that you are stating that 54% of the population in this country no longer hold to firm Christian beliefs...which is obvious just by day to day observation of the complacency in our population....Govt corruption, greed, pride, acceptance of totally unethical practices..everything from lies to homosexuality...all brought upon by not being taught any better by parents...schools...you name it. That was the whole idea of the separation of church and state...to keep govt from regulating proper teaching.
ooooo... so now we're taking the old testament literally??? so, by that same token.... then slavery is ok? and you can also beat your slave to near death, as long as they dont die within 2 days? oh, and if your kid is being unruly, you can also take him to the end of the street and stone him to death?i'd suggest u go back and read the Ten Commandments...the get back with me on that
I'm A FUCKING SQUIRRELHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...and here I thought that this here shit thread would have been some leftist moonbat whining about the Wisconsin recall election. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
