I am able to prove them wrong, but I don't really feel like explaining to you what proof there is. It's not my fault that you're uneducated; it's not my duty to educate you. If you're interested, start by Googling fossilization. Then radioactive decay and dating techniques, maybe a bit of physics? I don't know where you're confused.
But like I said, I'm not going to take the time to talk you through this. Most of science in itself discredits creationism, unless you start arguing semantics -- at which point, there's no point to go on.

I understand what you're trying to do, but I'm not interested. The simple fact is that Earth and the universe has been around for longer than 10,000 years. We observe on a regular basis that our galaxy is moving further away from other galaxies, at a very high speed, and that everything is moving apart. That is where the "big bang" theory came from, and that is how scientists estimate the age of the universe.

Sadly those people can counter with radiation dating and fossiles were just put there by God, which is very difficult to disprove having no eye-witnesses to the contrary, similarly your big bang THEORY cannot be proven and must be accepted purely on faith.

I'm not sure where you're getting off attacking my beliefs or educational background for merely asking you to elaborate on whatever the point of this thread is or back up your claim. Gotta admit bro, beliefs are nothing more than beliefs. It's just that simple. And the only time scientific evidence requires faith is if you don't understand it. I have no problem with you having a belief, but just realise that that's all it is, it is NOT a fact.

Watch a few Universe shows and you may learn that we clearly are not the only intelligent beings in the universe and to think so is ignorant. I highly doubt another civilization out there has the same beliefs as us and or even has what we call "religions". It is sad how one way thinking so many people can be.

My hostility has nothing to do with the content of our discussion. My hostility is aimed directly toward you and your demeanor in nearly every thread you post in. Like I said earlier, I never tried to pass off a theory as fact. I don't care about your beliefs, and I attacked you because your last post implied that I couldn't defend my argument. It's not that I can't, it's that I don't feel that I have to.

It's pretty great that you clearly have an agenda, though. I daresay I called that when you first started posting. "Oh, you're mad that I questioned your 'belief' that the universe was created by 'sciency things'? Sounds like a religion to meeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" I knew you were going to try to draw a parallel between religion and my understanding of science. That's what happens when someone talks about religion. People get mad, and start trying to pass off everything as a religion.

Please pay attention to the fact that I never said that the big bang theory is a fact. I was merely showing you a few facts, and connecting them to a theory.

I didn't create this thread to argue with idiots about whether or not God popped the universe into existence a few thousand years ago, and I refuse to do so. There's no argument for creationism other than "Nuh uh, God did it." I don't enjoy trying to talk to a brick wall, so I'm done having this conversation with you. We're just stupid animals that know that death is inevitable. It's hard for everybody, not just those that rely on religion to comfort them.

I wish people could just face the facts of life. I am a very spiritual man, but in no way believe such absurd theories as some people might. (God) I do believe that are lifeforms when they die are passed on back through the earth in some spiritual form. (shrooms)

Seriously, 46% of the US believes that God(the Christian one) created the human race sometime in the past 10,000 years? That's not saying that God created the universe, then helped(whatever that's supposed to mean) with evolution. That's saying that God created humanity less than 10,000 years ago, in its present form.

As a soldier who has spent 1 year+ more than 7,600miles from home, I just have to say that if you believe this country to be so terrible then please 1)kill yourself, or 2) leave. I surely dont care to fight for any ungrateful pompous prick, and I can assure you, neither do any of my brethren. If you were to actually make a choice (Which you wont, you just feel the need to be a **** and make a poor attempt at achieving an undeserved sense of superiority at the cost of other peoples faiths) you undoubtedly will not be missed.

Now, I agree with you that the PEOPLE within our country are a total loss. Wipe them all out and start over. Considering how much I despise 95% of the population (to include the social rejects such as yourself) I often find myself wondering why I chose the path in life that I have. P.S. I hate you.

Freedom of speech is great. Never once asked to have this guy censored. However, for one to claim that the country "Blows".. Not a problem. No one is forcing him or anyone else for that matter to hang around. Hell there are 6 other continents for him to explore. And if it doesn't bother you as a soldier for someone to degrade the country you put your life down for, then it should atleast boil your blood as a patriot. But w/e.. some people don't join for the love of uncle sam. Lots of turds in the punch bowl because of "College money, SLRP, poor ecomony, etc. etc.."

Oh, btw.. since when did bashing people for their religious beliefs become a "political" thread?? Lol!!!
