Well I thought that i had made a box that even you had said would have the Type R performing well.

I made it 2.3cuft after displacement of port, sub. Tuned to 30hz

I actually have to make another box, so if this needs some adjustment, what size should I be making the box?

Its fricken loud, too loud, you can hear its totally straining the sub??

If I turn the sub volume down to like 8-10 it sounds loud, and great.

SO basically what I want to know is... will this guarantee me not to clip the signal? Cause I will never have the sub output to +15, cause its just too much for the sub.

If it sounds like it's set too high, it doesn't hurt to turn it down.

Anyone have 2 12" Type-R's in a cab of a truck with about 1000WRMS?

No but have 2 in a trunk that does 143.2 on the termlab off a 1100 watt lanzar amp. Not bad considering.

Would a 12" Alpine type R 2 ohm be okay if i wired it in 1 ohm to a kenwood KAC-811D or should i just wire it 2 ohm so i dont blow my sub to shit?

Alright guys i just got 2 12" type R's im going to put them in 4 cubes but what should i tune it to. The box right now is tuned to 38HZ, will this be ok. I will be giving the subs 750 watts for now but i can give them up to 1500 each if wired it down to 1 ohm.

I need an amp reccomended for my 12" type R its 2ohm and im lookin for 600-900 watts rms to run to the sub........I have a price range of 200 bucks thanks alot.....

Not tryin to buy form you guys though cause no cash yet but i wont to go ahead and know what amp i will buy when i get the cash though thanks again
