150 should not be that hard......Then how come not very many people can hit 150

For most to do a 150 it takes alot of power... very rarely do you see a 150 at a low note without a *ton* of power... why? because its difficult.

Im kinda fishing around for some input.... I have learned lots about the ported Type R 12, but what about sealed? Anyone had one in a truck? How'd that sound, and were you putting 1000W to it, or just RMS rated power?

Can the Type-R 12 handle 1000W RMS as a daily LOUD driver?

What size sealed box for this kinda setup?

PS - I'm talking about the NEW Type-R 12

sure the R can handle it, going sealed i'd say around .65 -1.0 for a sealed setup, and around 700W- 1000W wouldnt hurt it, just watch the gains. and bass boost and whatever else you think can juice it up. it should be nice and loud , and the bass should be tight.what kinda amp you using? is it the mrv 1005 in your sig?
