I currently own 2 of the subs you are inquiring about... not installed, YET as the other 12" is on its way, should arrive monday/tueday...

After custel informed me that the TYPE-R can handle lots of juice, I changed my subs to dual 4ohm, so I could run 1 MRD-M1005 to each Type R... thats 1000W RMS (Alpine spec)

I seen on realmofexcursion.com that people are driving 1000W RMS into each coil even... so dont be worred about runing 600W RMS into each sub, if anything by the sounds of it, you should try for even more than that.

im not worried about the power, at all. im going to get started on the false floor here soon, thats what im going to use for the setup i believe. i need to figure out HOW i will do that though.

I would have no problem going ported if it wasn't for the size of my trunk. Mustang convertibles have no space for subs. I might be able to get a 1.5 stuffed in there, but 2 would be a bit much.

If the 350 ends up being overpowered by my components (type R alpines on a 100x2 amp) I will upgrade it, but for now the MRP-M350 is what I have on the shelf.

i thought this was for a sub. so you are running that 350 amp to your components speakers? please verify im a lil confused on what your saying

ok i placed my order for a single 12" re se on the 12th...re is experiencing power loss and haven't even had my sub shipped out yet. And they said they're hoping to get all orders shipped out by the end of next week...

well i've been seeing a lot of posts about the new 05 type-r's...which would ya'll choose?

my box is a 2 cu.ft ported @ 32hz. Would a type-r sound better than a se at sq?

After this thread, I just hope it puts a sock in the mouths of those of you who say hitting 150 daily as a street driver isnt to practicle. If 1 of those could do 150, then 2 could do like 153+ (hopefully.....which it did) I KNOW I KNOW, this is only a burp, but then turn it down 3 db, and there you go, you have 2 friggin type R's hittin 150, or around 150 all day long. Im pretty sure I saw this car, and there was nothing fancy shmancy about these enclosures...
