Sorry to hijack plopy!

Trancer, do you have room for about 6 cubes in the trunk?

LOL oh yeah, woops, forgot that we were in his thread. I dont think I have enough room for 6 cubes. I could possibly find a way, especialy with an idea that I have. I am thinking of cutting into my back seats and have the sub(s) facing in the cab. Ill make it to where people can sit in the back still.

take a look if that box that I posted earlier

will fit. Netherland and I have lined up the Type R's in it. SE's fit as well.

Well Thanks guys Im going to goto my local shop tommorow (calledthem and theyre having a sale on Type R's) ill go talk with them. Not fully decided yet. But as far as the Se being the same as a Type S, thats ridiculous, Im running one 12" type S at the moment, its not loud at all, but then again it could be the box / power im giving it. but still, its sounds good, but it doesnt get low and loud.

So if i get 2 type R's recieving 600W RMS each, should I port them? If so give me some recs, like tuning and box size. 600 daily wont screw them over will they? Oh and this will be going in the trunk of a 96 beretta, which isnt a lot of trunk space lol, you shoulda seen the box for dual 15"s i tried fitting in there, lets just say it was scrapped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ive ordered an MRD-M1005 Amplifier, that is supposed to be 1000W RMS into 2ohms... and a single 12" Type-R.... in plans to get the other Type R shortly after... I ordered the dual 2ohm, but now I am starting to think that I should be running the 1000W RMS into 1 sub... and just get another amp for the other sub when I do get it.... Can the Type R handle the 1000WRMS from the MRD-M1005?????? I gotta find out before end of day, so that I can call and change the sub from dual 2, to dual 4ohm..

Well, will the MRD-M1005 be good for 2 12's, or should I be using it on 1 12?

Thats basically what I needed to know.

I am planning on a ported enclosure I have abour 4-5cuft for the 2 in space available, planning on slot port...

1000WRMS good for 1 or 2 in abox like that?

I play it loud, and for long periods as well, using the 1000W on 1 shoud help me out with heating issues as i dont have to crank it to get it to do what I need it to do, right?

will this amp be to much for this sub or should i go with a L7 or L5 Kickers
