Let's get two things straight. Never were you "asked" to resign, nor do I look anything like Morgan Freeman.
Now, what was said (I'll dumb it down a hair for ya) was:

If you don't care, if your attitude is complacency and apathy, then your ability to effectively moderate this forum is compromised. You have a responsibility to uphold a certain level of civility and maturity. Either do it, or consider letting someone else take on the task. I have a feeling you'd be an awful lot more satisfied with simply being one of our resident idiots in the lounge.

A moderator's place is NOT to harass, call names or bring private discussions to light. There's a reason the original discussion was in the Backroom. I'm sure it's simply a matter of minutes until your "posse" of Lounge Lizards manges to think up some undoubtedly hilarious response.

Every friggin mod on this site has a private agenda and does whatever the hell they want.
