What I bet he was trying to say is that Iron (Fe on the PT, for those of you keeping score at home) has a higher melting point than burning jet fuel could have reached on its own considering the altitutude, temperature, etc...

now, lets check our progress, we have a fire in the towers burning at some temperature. ANY fire's temperature depends on mmuch more than what its burning. For simplicity, lets stay on oxygen, as this is what makes fires burn much hotter. If the fire was fed oxygen, it could have had pockets of INTENSE heat, yes, hotter than the steal would have supported the building at. Why is this concept so hard for you guys?

what does it matter what was inside that could burn..do you think desks, chairs, files, books, pencils, etc etc have a higher burning temp than carosine?

i give you respect for atleast thinking as far as you have and how youve atleast put some critical thinking into the fact..but, its like you get an answer from somewhere and leave it at that, rather than looking into further for yourself...

alot of what has been given as an "official explaination" does not make any sense..alot of it. and there is alot of coincidences on top of it all..

First of all, QUIT IT WITH THE FUCKING JET FUEL! There was a fire! The fire was burning more than jet fuel....

First of all, QUIT IT WITH THE FUCKING JET FUEL! There was a fire! The fire was burning more than jet fuel....ALSO! The steal did not have to hit its melting point to fail...

The entire steel structure acted as a giant heat sink. Knowing this, it was impossible for the towers to collapse, especially after such a short burn time. There have been MUCH worse fires in skyscrapers, and they did not collapse.

because if the fire was that hot, firefighters wouldn't have been able to get to those floors and attempt to put the fire out.... How can your supposed "super hot" fire still allow people to come near enough to it to attempt to put it out? There are recordings from the fire department that you can hear firefighters say that they have a way to put the fire out.

How can you explain them being able to put out a fire that was hot enough to melt steel?

How can you explain the video footage that just shows smoke billowing, and PEOPLE STANDING WHERE THE HOLES WERE. There are pictures showing people standing on the other side of the building from where the fire was, in the holes that the plane hit.

Are you telling me that this super-hot fire only burned on one-half the building?

Are you a scientist? no, the heatsink theory is a theory... "much worse"? NOBODY took heat measurments! There is no way to know how bad the fire was...
