Garbage JayDubb757, look at how much larger the flushing baffle is over the size of those dual Eclipse drivers... Eesh...

Hah, J/K, some gorgeous work there bud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Alright, lemme find my ol' SD cards and scrounge up all the enclosure builds I can.

very nice work from all guys, that's what I like to see. FYI I'll take these over an octo port any day:

Multiple rings stacked, or sonotube with a heavy roundover on both sides? How did you secure the tubing to the port wall?

Usually if using a sonotube, you cut two rings, one for both sides you'd adhere the tubing to, and then roundover the wooden rings or square boards even used for both stabilizing it (at least the interior port opening you'd probably want to depending on material and length), and having the wood there so you have something to actually put a radius into?

Lots of skilled builders in this thread. Keep up the great work guys. I'm just starting to build myself , I can design just fine but now I finally have a shop and all the tools at my disposal. In the process of doing a 4 cube 3:1 double kerf 4th for my civic. Hopefully one day I can hang with the quality in this thread.

I've built quite a few daily boxes and comp boxes over the years, Dave is the ONLY one I'll trust to build a daily box for me. I'll build my own comp boxes, but thats cause I don't wanna have to throw out one of his works. He built on for a friend of mine a couple years ago for four DC XL 15's and it was strong as fvck. My buddy tried to run it over with a Bobcat and it wouldn't crack, ended up hitting it with a jackhammer attachment and broke it up. For a clamped and glued box they are superb, much better than any boxes I've seen at my shows. I have an Octoport sitting at home, I'll be cheap and sell it to someone for $150 plus shipping. It's an 8" one I had him build me for burps, and it's a removable type too.

now this is funny, there is an old man down here in Texas named Toby Guynn that has been using that port design for almost 20yrs on some of the loudest low powered bandpass boxes around..if anyone has the rights to it it would be Toby Corp.

That's a hex port, but yes you do see some TOBY boxes here and there on the DFW craigslist.
