The box guy

Killer thread guys! I like seeing the build quality from all of you guys. I wish I had the skills for building these but... My stright line cut is more fucked up than a... Well its just fucked up.

I was quite happy with the 1 box I bought from him.
ITT people who work for 5$ an hour are butthurt at someone who charges enough to support his family.
I can respect him for that, and if works that is great. I don't think that is all he does though. I know online they don't care about quality for anything just a low price. That goes for everything online though.

I respect both builders and their work. I've heard a Dave the box guy's and Starr mountain boxes. Both boxes were in huge vehicles. Both metered the exact same thing 139.9. Both builders have roughly 20 yrs of experience. It depends if you want Dave the guy or Starr mountain box in your ride with a decal with either name on your ride.

What are u smoking?.....I need a $100 worth of it because it's apparently good stuff!!!!!......lol

Well it looks like I'm in the wrong business if I can spend 1hr making an octoport and sell it for $150+.
But RAM the box guy perfected them....lol......nobody elses will sound like the ones he builds....he sprinkles special magic on them that he gets from Willy Wonka......yours wont have the magic brah......lmao

AFAIK that's all he does. At least that was the case a couple years ago when I traded for one from him.

If you can bang one out in an hour you could probably make a fine return on time invested making up a bunch and selling on here.

if im not mistaken they were first used in competitions so skirt the "round port" rule. basicly they could get more port area or whatnot. dont quote me on this tho. im sure someone will come in and post a wall of text explaining it all. lol
