Yeah I'm just curious because that equipment should be very close to a 150 or over. If his box does a 150 I think $325 is kinda worth it.

Box was ~8 cubes tuned to 34hz with 118 in^2 of port running off of a sundown 3k. The subs don't get warm at all even after playing it full tilt for 15-20 minutes

Thanks ROUX....they are all 3 carpet.......well for me I enjoy building....I do this for mad money and to feed my audio habit not my family so I don't have to turn a huge profit.......I guess that's an advantage for me over some other builders.......My main income comes from my OTHER job thank GOD@!!!!!......

hes a fvcking rip off. he wanted to charge me 200 bucks just to build my octoport. prorabbit did it for 90 shipped.

Don't forget that he was quite upset that I used an octoport in my design, like he has a damn patent on the thing or something.

I agree, considering the new amp and sub choices, $325 may not seem that much...

now this is funny, there is an old man down here in Texas named Toby Guynn that has been using that port design for almost 20yrs on some of the loudest low powered bandpass boxes around..if anyone has the rights to it it would be Toby Corp.
