The annoyance of car audio install

Nice work....you will appreciate your hard work when that biotch is dead as fried chicken //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/chicken.gif.218ea7401db50d5e31a7e0b37e05e21e.gif
I'm stoked for my idea on the new baffles... that will be 10x more gratifying than the sound deadning... in fact I only did the sound deadning b/c I was bored and needed to re-run some wires anyways... somehow it developed into a spurr of the moment full-tilt sound deadning project... and it went smoothly... I'm getting good at this stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

now that your good at it you can do my trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Sucks the rain here now. I was going to finish my install but got lazy and taking off tomorrow for Lincoln city.

good times... enjoy the beach....

and liquid spectrum + rain =... well something bad

well today was supposed to be the begining of the install but as I was building a work bench for my back porch I made a slight error... I was putting a screw in and it flopped to the side and the philips head on my drill did this to my finger which was an innocent bystander, it didn't really hurt but it sapped me of my will to build:

I used to love installing...after doing it as a job for the past 2 years, I hate this shit (unless I'm doing it in my own car)

it actually didn't hurt much... I just had an inital shock... sweat, and a little light headed for a min then patched it up and I was fine...

but no luck getting started on the install //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I almost always encounter problems. Its certainly a pain in the ***. I'm stuck in the middle of my speaker install. Front stage won't play. I **** at troubleshooting. still an install noob.

today i installed my clarion head unit in my truck, it should of been simple as hell. justs a head unit install. well it just happens that the truck came stock with a center channel speaker and some how they made it work out of the two front channel from the factory unit.

it just took me a minute to figure out that the labels on the wires it self would not work because of the third speaker. the wires labels as front speakers ended not being the front speakers but a combo of front left, right and center, i was about to just rewired the whole thing.

thank god for 9v batteries and dmm, i figured it out,

just took longer then i expected. lol

btw nice job on the sound deadning. i think i should do the same.before i continue adding components to the truck.

i thought about using edead because its cheap, how will it compare to that liquid stuff youre using.

so today I've been lazy... got all but one side of the sub box glued together... work was slow and I made lots of mistakes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif ... but it's coming together... once I get all the sides glued I will get to play with the router!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif and then figure out how to make the stand for the downfiring setup...

I'll get to the baffles later this week....

well the box is about 3/4 done but I ran out of MDF and my woman stole my camera so I'm stalled and I have no pics... more later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
