that tax money from bush thing

Are you saying that deficit spending doesn't improve economic welfare?

And that has been proven over the past 8 years correct - and it is doing so well for us now, right?

When theory doesn't = practicality - then the theory needs to be re-evaluated.

The gov't misses payments everyday. The day will come when these bozos in washington will realize they are playing with real money.

Lol, yup! you're right! The US has NO money, and skips payments! Thats why people keep giving them money and they keep taking it.....................................

sarcasm.

It's a complex system and there are no payment books issued to the US gov't. They pay back at will and incur higher interest rates along the way for lengthening the time. They just don't have credit scores to worry about like the rest of us.

It's not theory....the economy would be doing much much worse if it wasn't for this spending on the war.

much worse if it weren't for spending on the war - come on now you come off as an intellgint person - how can you say that if we didn't spend over $400 billion on this war our economy would be much worse...how does less spending make it worse. I know when I spend less my economic position becomes much greater.

bullsh!t. Just look at the phone line taps the phone companies cut because the Dept. of homeland security didn't pay the phone bills. Some individual bills exceeded $60,000 past due. Then they said the phone companies were not serious about fighting terrorists. And that's just on the most basic level.

As I said, everyday.

The US government has never defaulted on an obligation.

Because the deficit spending puts money into the economy.

Think of it this way...the war put $400billion into the economy...take that money out of the economy....those people whose jobs depend on iraq spending...are now jobless.

I'd like to see your sources...

And I meant a debt obligation like a bond, note, etc. Not a phone bill.

A phone bill is not a debt obligation.

the elecronics stores are going to go nutz with this.. I can see it now.. Nothing but BB and CC commercials through May June and July, and with Feb '09 everything going digital on the TV, even more lure to go buy that new LCD or Plazma youve been eyeing up.

OOH and dont plan on that fat tax refund in 2009, because you already got 1/2 of it in May 2008!
