im sure its a dumbass question but what is needed to hook my computer to my plasma to watch videos & HD on my plasma. do i need some sort of card for my computer then wires or what ?

What kind of plasma? Wouldnt really recommend leaving your desktop on there much at all...risk burn in.

Just use a vga cable. Plasma burn in is pretty rare on newer plasma's now but I still wouldn't risk leaving a still picture on your plasma for a long period of time. You need to hook up a mini cable to some speakers though because vga doesn't provide sound.

its not rocket science, whatever output you have on your pc, connect that to the corresponding input on your monitor
