I mean you have to admit its ridiculous that a person working full time pulling in 15K+ at the age of 18 doesn't qualify for the rebate.

actually, you said you were 17 which means you were a minor at the time you were working. you could have discussed it with your parents and claimed taxes yourself, at that time you would be eligible for this refund, however. since you let them claim you, you are not eligible

Whats the difference between me, an 18 yr old getting to college and working to become successful versus a single 27yr old McD's cook? They get their tax rebate. I dont. Makes no sense that because they are older they get it back and I dont.

No, what's ridiculous is the low *** cap they put on the maximum annual salary allowed. Fuggin poor people get all the breaks.

Depends...I think it begins to phase out at 75k if single
