testing amp with no H/U help

I need to test an amp and sub.

I can hook the amp up to a power and ground in the car.

But there is a stock h/u.

I saw before something where you can plug an ipod into the rca spot on teh amp. How does this work?

I have an mp3 player not an ipod.

Go to radio shack and get a male rca to STEREO 3.,5 mm headphone male connector and plug it in the amp! simple as that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

just explain to radio shack that you want ALL stereo connectors and you are trying to take headphone to rca, they will show you how to do it. I think I had to do it with a few more pieces, but its basically just that

Sure thing! This same combination works on your rear AUX port for HU's.

Acutally, now that I think about it, walmart has a Belkin RCA to Headphone cable which may be about as cheap as buying all those connectors.
