I'm goin to a party at my friend's house tonight for new years. he wants to use my sub.. he says he has a computer power supply to hook up the amp to.. is there any possible way i can ruin my equipment excluding the fact that people might bump into it or something.. any electrical problems?

ya im just gonna tell him too ****in bad.. i dont think it would even work with really shitty wire.. he doesnt even know what gauge it is.. somethin tells me its like 20g shit wire or somethin

what can i tell him to get him off my *** about it? i told him the power supply wont be able to handle it and he's like "i know it wont crank like in your car but it will still crank".. i wanna give him a good technical reason to **** off about it.. hes already told a couple people about it so im gonna look like a douche if i just go in there saying no i dont want anyone using my shit

You dont need a pc power supply, Just park it like this.

ok nvmd now i have an excuse not to bring it.. me and my dad were just painting the box and he thought the paint dried in 15 mins.. but that was for somethine else.. it actually takes 6 hrs

how would a PC Power supply even hook up to it? o_O If it could, it needs to be a big *** power supply and a heavy one. If its light then it has shitty capacitors in it and will most likely **** your stuff. Before they even break anything, the fuse will blow inside it. wonder if he has one of those cheap 350 watt PSU's he got for $40.
