Test tone Cd and questions

First off i want to know if theres somewhere i can buy a test tone cd for setting up my amp. I cant burn any tones to a cd so if anyone has a website where i can buy one i would greatly appreciate it.

Alsoi did the calculations on setting the gain for my amp and sub, and came up that i should be getting 50 on the dmm voltage is that correct?

Its an Ascendant Audio dual 2 ohm and i want to run 1250 watts to it. So 1250x2= 2500. Then the sq root of 2500, is 50 correct?

your calculations seem right.. but to be sure watch and listen to your woofer for distortion as you get close to 50volts. To answer your frst question.. try this realmofexcursion.com and go to the download link on top!

No your calculations are wrong. If the sub is a dual 2 (and assuming your running a mono amp) you'll probably be wiring it to a 1 ohm load right? So it should be sqrt(1250*1). What amp are you running? Generally it doesn't matter what you want to feed the sub it's what your amp will do.

The amp is a sundown saz-2500d, and yes i planned on running the sub at 1 ohm. Its way more amp then i need for the one sub but my initial plan was 2 of the havocs but for now im just running one.

If you set your amp to output 50V your sub will be seeing 2500w. You want ~35.5V

oh ok, so really you go by what your gonna wire the sub to, not what the actual impedeance of the sub i. Yall just saved me a couple hundred dollars haha i knew i loved this forum.

Yes, your setting it according to what impedance the amplifier sees, it really has little to do with the sub.
