Tapped a Fuse, Now my windows don't work

In my '08 Ford Mustang, the radio wiring harness did not have an accessory/ignition power wire. So I then bought this. It said it was for 2 10A fuses. I put it in a 5A fuse slot, and connected it to the stereo, and now my windows don't work. I took it out, which then made the windows work again.

I'm not for sure what I need to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

So basically old cars had a positive and a negative for every single friggin circuit in the car. It was expensive and it was a ton of wiring.
In newer cars. They started using something called Mux (i think) which basically sends multiple circuit signals down the same wire. So instead of a 12 volt on or off turning on one thing, they now do something like

3 volts. Roll window up

6 volts roll window down

9 volts turn on seat heater

Ect

Basically you cant tap into any old wire anymore.

Id be willing to bet your stereo had that wire and you just didnt know it.

Short fix. Run a relay to the main ACC wire to turn on the radio. But you may have the same issue. Prob not but idk newer card that well.

Hey, thanks for the advice! Upon looking at the original wiring diagram there is a wire called "Voltage in Run or Accessory" Do you think this would be the correct wire to splice?
