Tahoe finally getting fixed

my Tahoe has been out of service since December of last year. I took it to one shop and it sat there for a couple of months, the mechanic just didn't have time to work on it because its such a big job. took it to another one about a week ago and its gna be finished by tmrw. brand new motor, 0 miles got dam gna have to break this thing in. when I start it for that very first time oh man, im gna cry bros. 4 18s b-pillar coming soon

So it needed an engine rebuild and one mechanice couldn't do it or too big of a job? That's not a mechanic then. There's plenty of younger people that would love to do that.....because that's what they do.

of course they do. anything mechanical can fail at any moment. why? human error. ive seen engines grenade on startup. talk about loling.

Well I can see your point. Luckily I bought mine when the previous owner had the engine rebuilt and ******.

Funny thing is when I had my 92 s10 blazer, it was still running on the original engine 300k+ miles.....course it has/had it's problems/break downs from time to time.

Pretty simple really: You don't care care of your vehicle, it wont take care of you. But.....anything can fail.

ive got a work van close to half a million miles. original engine. i'll take some pics next week. no room to keep it here.

Have you asked for paperwork showing it has 0 miles on it or if it has been rebuilt?

GM engines will run 500k miles no problem if properly maintained and the known bad parts get replaced over time...

oh and if you dont have the AFM engines, lol those **** engines throw rods and **** because they're so complicated from the AFM
