dude, there are a million options out there.

why not do some surfing and searching on this site, pick out a brand you hear a lot of good things about, watch some videos of the subs in action, pick a sub out that fits your budget, and find a decent amp to power it with.

from there on in its just materials - enclosure/mdf, wiring, fuses, batteries/caps, etc.

1500.00 bucks can hook you up here on CA.com. Find some good Comps(ID max,Arc,MB quart.etc.) for the front, some nice subs,Arc,Sundown(do you want heavy low, tight,etc. bass) 10,12,15,18,etc. Sundown,Arc, on amps, well that is what I like, but for that money you could totally put together a great system. What are you looking for?

great car choice man!!! props on that.. I assume your rear seats fold down.. I say do 1-15 prted thru seats opening or 2-12s or 10s.. get some nice Comps too man.. I say Phoenix Gold RSD comps, AQ or DD subs, custom Box.. and Matching MTX amps for subs and highs..maybe im partial LOL

Is this 1500 for the entire audio system or just the sub phase?

A HDC3 15 would be nice for you, get out pretty cheap. You can pick up an amp to push one for around 250 dollars I'm sure.

i'm not so worried about components at the moment, the 1500 is for subs and amp and what not, i'll take care of that next month when i get more money if i dont have enough this time around

i was looking at DD 9500 and 3500 also, but i want to buy everything BNIB and DD is pretty Pricey compared to Audioque

My suggestion would be

Two HDC3 15's sealed off from the trunk and firing into your car. The subs will cost you around 550 dollars or so and you can pick up two nice amps for relatively cheap. The only problem will be in upgrading the electrical. Dont overdo it if there is a chance you'll run low on cash. The most money you're going to spend in doing a nice, large audio system isnt in the equiptment as much as it is in preparing the vehicle to stand it

Anyways, if you're willing to spend the money on batteries, wires, and a nicer alternator

Two HDC3 15's and say two used Kicker 2500.1's or similar. Maybe a 40.1 or a Sundown 3000D, there's tons of options in amps.

You will spend some cash on the box as well if you seal her off from the trunk firing into the cab. You dont have to but if you do, you'll love it
