system stopped working?

Hey guys my brother just had one of those in car breathalyzer things taken out of his car today and after they removed it, his subs stopped working. I havent had a chance to look at it yet, but my initial thought is maybe a blown fuse?

Could it also be possible that since it was connected to the battery and they removed the power wire to take it off, that the HU settings were reset and maybe they just need to be adjusted like the LPF or something?

well i told him about the SUB on/off setting and he said he checked that. Other possible reasons? blown fuse maybe?

is he ampin his speakers too or just running an amp for the subs? if he does do the speakers work?
