System Stolen. Time For Rebuild. Options for BIG SPL on 2 TXA 1000D's? CHEAP

Well I have 2 of the TXA 1000D amps. So each amp would be powerring only 2 subs. So basically 2 DVC 4ohm subs wired to 1ohm for each amp. Right ?
Would 4 L7's sounds pretty nice?
Yeah, you can wire them that way. And yeah 4 L7s would be loud. Do you have that much room though? You need around 8 cubic feet before port, sub, and wood displacement. I don't recall what vehicle you had, but if it's an SUV or hatchback you should be fine. If it's trunk car I don't think that would work.

Ive got an 02 Infiniti QX4, fair sized SUV. But Id be giving up my ENTIRE trunk pretty much for 8 cubes lol

Would they honestly sound good though? Would they still pound pretty hard only getting the 500ish rms?

Im on the wall with either going one big 18", 2 15's, or these 4 L7's. The kickers are used. But for around a hundred bucks each, I think thats a pretty good deal. Shipping is gonna **** though.

Just wnana make sure there gonna have the shear chest pounding output I want though

Go with a big 18 and strap your amps. It will take up less space and still pound. Get a Fi BTL, RE MT, DD 9518, or IA DP - any of those will absolutely pound, with the BTL probably being the cheapest.

Ya thats really all I need right now is some cheap SPL, I dont wanna spend to much money incase the same thing happens. ANd I really dont listen to bass in my music all the time I usually turn it down quite a bit. But I like listenning to it by itself for 10 minutes at a time here and there and Id love for it to hurt.
I was thinkin of pickin up 4 Kicker L7 12's locally for $450ish, I believe there dual VC 4ohm so I could wire them to 1 ohm like I had my audiobahns. But I dont know how loud 4 of them would be only getting 500rms each.....
uh. loud. 2000 watts between 4 12" l7's would be loud. period. even if its only 2,000 watts, and you see other people run 4,000+ it would still be loud as fvck

Well, for instance. Is there a noticeably AUDIBLE difference in running say 2 kicker L7's @ 500rms a piece VS running FOUR of them @ 500rms a piece?

This will only be my second setup, so Im really looking for help here. Im looking for the most SPL for my buck and I have to be able to use the 2 amps I currently have. Thats why I mentionned the 4 L7's I came across. And having 4 subs is kinda different, but I dont know if it would be LOUD VS having only 2

Hard to explain

I also dont know much about the 4 subs that were posted 2 posts above, the 18's that were mentionned. Why would 1 18" be just as loud if not louder? I also would like this to be reliable. I dont want to have to recone or have to change subs every season, so if those subs arent reliable, please tell me now

Happy my car got broken into and $400 worth of equipment STOLEN? My 4 ch amp aswell. I should be HAPPY? Are you fukin retarded?

Thanks for your contribution to the thread though *******

Or also. I found a good deal on these Cadence Wild Beast 15's

http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=0&idproduct=71

They retail for $700 a piece, but I can get them for around $300/pair to my door

Are thye any good? Would they be loud?

Im assuming they work wih my 2 amps, strap them together and wire for 2ohm's

Just trying to figure out what I can do THE MOST SPL here with my measily little budget. And this fits it nicely. But I dont know of the subs qulaity at all!

The L7s are 12's, used, and after checking my online account, out of my price range. Im gonna try and stick to sub 300 before shipping. Thats why I mentionned those wild beasts

you should be thankful that they got stolen. if you ever run across them you should thank them...
as far as the audioblings... yes... you should be. they saved you alot of problems.
