System Stolen. Time For Rebuild. Options for BIG SPL on 2 TXA 1000D's? CHEAP

Hey guys,

Like the title said. I installed my stereo less than a month ago, 2 flame q audiobahn 12's in a big ported box. Well somehow they got my hatch open without my alarm going off and they made off with my subs and my 4 chanel amp for my speakers (not my txa, it was bolted to the box guess they didnt have a socket?)... sucks

I wasnt happy with the flame q's as far as SQ goes, but with one txa 1000d and a 6cube box I thought the SPL shoulda/coulda been LOUDER

So now Im in the market to build a new box and buy 1 or possibly 2 new subs. What Im looking for is something to absolutely THUMP. I dont go into comps and probly never will, but I want this to be loud. I listen to all types of music but thats what the remote gain knob is for.... I want this to be loud as [censored] and hurt when it plays the right type music

What are my best options (cheaper the better) for a big spl system running off 2 txa 1000D amps? This car is my daily driver, and Im looking for the type of bass I once felt as a kid, bass that just kicks you in the chest and makes you remember it.

I cant really say I have a budget, but Id like to keep it around $300 shipped... I dont want this stuff getting stolen again so Im spending a little more on some upgraded security

Theres a guy locally with 1 18" treo with a fairly big amp i think, Id love to be louder than that if that sets a reference point

I was searching on many forums this morning and seen some talk on the audique SD 2.5 15's. There kinda expensive. Would I be able to buy only one? Would that be enough output? My amps are 1ohm but can be strapped together and I believe then become 2 ohm and 2000watts rms

I dont know how much wattage the audioque can take though

I was hoping to find some CHEAPER 15's that could munch 1000watts daily and get VERY LOUD

IMHO, alarms don't do shit. I spent over 500 bucks on a viper and had a crimestopper as a bypass alarm and they still stole my car when I was at work. If they want it bad enough, they will get it. Some people just don't give a shit.

As far as subs, I am kinda out of the SPL game, so not sure. I am sure someone will chime in with a good SPL sub. I like SQ myself now.

Ya thats really all I need right now is some cheap SPL, I dont wanna spend to much money incase the same thing happens. ANd I really dont listen to bass in my music all the time I usually turn it down quite a bit. But I like listenning to it by itself for 10 minutes at a time here and there and Id love for it to hurt.

I was thinkin of pickin up 4 Kicker L7 12's locally for $450ish, I believe there dual VC 4ohm so I could wire them to 1 ohm like I had my audiobahns. But I dont know how loud 4 of them would be only getting 500rms each.....

4 Dual 4s wire to 2 ohm, not 1 ohm.

Well I have 2 of the TXA 1000D amps. So each amp would be powerring only 2 subs. So basically 2 DVC 4ohm subs wired to 1ohm for each amp. Right ?

Would 4 L7's sounds pretty nice?
