Read through a few threads. It is said several times that vans are for hard core SPL.

But those who say that don't say why.

I've always wondered about this. Like why can't you load a RV or a bigass truck full of subs and amps. I only see like astro vans at SPL comps
a dealer that i sometimes buy stuff from has an rv, a big one, like bus size, with a couple 12" d6's in it.

u have the space why not use a couple a couple 18's

I have an SQ system in a full size van, and yeah, I get some odd looks when I pull up in the lanes to do an SQ run //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

No reason why you can't do it. Usually the stock alternator is pretty beefy, and there's plenty of room for a large battery in the stock location for plenty of reserve Ah. Inside, you'll need to do a lot of install/prep work because these are commercial vehicles that were never designed to sound good inside. I needed to build up my doors quite a bit to get them to an acceptable level...but the stock locations were quite high up in the door.

Don't let the stereotypes stop you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
