System Idea's little help please..

Ok trying to chose subs and setup here.. This will be for bass race setup..

Setup one..

2 new Pioneer SPL 12" subs

1 BOX tuned to 40hz areo ports

1 sundown 3000D to start with.

Setup two..

1 15" FI BL Fully Loaded.

1 Box slot port tuned to about 35 with the tc motor/xxx softparts sounds loudest at 40, will be removing the TC/xxx and putting the FI BL in this box.

1 Sundown 1500D

This is for everyday use, but going for bass race the TC/XXX on a xxx-6500D could ONLY get to 139.1 I want to be 140 - 149.9 so need to get to 150+ so it had room. I would like to be in that close if I can or be able to hold back in to the 130-139.9 bass race class..

250amp alt, 3 batts, big 3, all 1/0..

Front stange I was using a PG ZX-450 but wanting all sundown so going with a 100.2 at 2ohms for my mids and highs. Think this should be ok as well??

told you the power and cone area basis....the 2 pioneers should be louder...i think your truck just sucks up too much of the pressure so you dont meter well...

Yea but I went up with someone with a sundown 3000 and 2 FI 15"s not sure if it was a BL or BTL and he got over 140 easy same truck 100%.. but I only had the one tc/xxx and the 6500D so he won that day.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
