System for under 700$

I'm kind of a newb when it comes to car audio so I need some help. I'm looking to spend no more than 700$ (that includes the amp too) on a system. I probably would spend a little more if it was worth it though. I'm look for sql subs, I'm not even sure what size subs I should get. 1 15 or 2 12's or 2 15's.....I was thinking of getting re xxx's though. What would you all buy ? If anyone could help that would be cool.

uhhh xxx's and an amp to power it are gonna be a little ore than your looking for expecially for a first system. look at tcsounds.com the tc3000 maybe with something like a hifonics 1605?

Get 2 12" SoundSplinter Rl-P's for 500 somethin....and then search for a Hifonics BXI 2006d... that may put you in the 700-800 range.

are you only looking for BASS? or do you need a whole system.. as in headunit and high speakers and such?
