System for Old car

hey want to help my dad out with a system that will sound good in his 55 belair considering it still has the stock yeah am radio *LOL* doesnt work but just want something to look stock just going to mount the cd player in the glove box or underneath the dash money really isnt any problem just dont want my dad pimpin around with 150+ db's ya guys know because the car will already turn heads..

55 belair... argle argle argle... I envy your dad. I envy YOU for having such a cool dad.

I take it he's looking for sound quality, mainly? Is he gonna go for a whole system?

yeah, go for an alpine type r, if you're looking at alpine. Put it in a small sealed box that you can fit in your trunk. For components, it's a lot of opinion. Look at Diamond Hex's, Alpine Type X's, Infinity Kappas and Perfects, Focal, Kicker Resolution. There's way too many to name them all. Look around at local shops to see what sounds the best, then I would recommend buying them online.

My friend has one of those, same year. Completely restored too, I ride in it all the time with him.
