My buddy wants me to put a system in his s10... hes pretty much got a ton of money, so price really isn't a problem.

I was thinking two l7 8"s and a memphis 1000d and watch the gains... thing is i don't know how much room there is in the thing.

Maybe two re 8"s?

Any help would be appreciated =)

is fiberglassing into the rear part of the door an option? most doors would allow you to but an 8" on each side that way.

Sadly I've never glass'd anything, and I want to practice on my own car before I do stuff on someone elses.

just put 8's in my brother 95 s10. went in good but can get the door panel to snap back in place because of the window track but we put a block of wood aroudn it and screwed throught that. Worked good and sounds decent

i have a RE SE 10" sub that would kick major ass

snova had a SExxx10 and hit 140 in his S10. the SQ should be better than the L7's and it will take 800w like a champ. he got $?

120 shipped my friend. PM me if you (he) is interested.

I am putting 2 RE 8's in a box thats being built for me. Id build it myself, but to fit the dimensions of my truck for a ported box seemed too much for me. Cant tell you how it sounds just yet, but Ill have the tantrum pushing ~150 to it, so i imagine it'll be pretty loud in my small cabin.

i wouldnt go with anything bigger than 8"s because there is limited space. you might be able to fit some 10"s behind the seat if you move the seat forward but that would not be a good idea if hes too tall for that. try sticking the subs under the seats. worked in my sisters s10 but that was an early 90s model.

snova? s-10? 140? I think you're a little confused. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have a single 10" seXXX in my regular cab, and needless to say it gets pretty d*mn loud for one 10". Mid 130's on the TL is my best guess.

I've also put a 10" SE in my buddies '00 sonoma (same style as your buddies s-10), and it sounds amazing. It's in a sealed box, although i don't know the exact amount of airspace. It's not quite as loud as mine, but it's still very nice for only 400 RMS.

i have a terrible memory.

but as you can see - tomy got that to fit in a NON x-cab s10. so i wouldnt worry about it.
