2 months of planning, 3 months of installation (between work and school)
Application: 1997 corvette
the Hardware: see signature (plus dynamat extreme/SS damplifier pro/SS overkill pro acoustic insulation foam.)
the pics:
dash:
Capacitor (the SPL series caps only have room for a single one way terminal, so i used 2 way split dist blocks)
Amp rack installed:
(night shots)
Amp rack
LEDs in the speaker grilles:
dash at night
Rear amp and LED voltmeter on capacitor
the big Q: why?
the big A: Because I need something to relieve road rage....yes, the system is more expensive than a roof-mounted .50 cal, but in the long run, I’d much rather enjoy loud rock music than community showers in the local penitentiary as a result of “dealing” with annoying drivers.
