Super noob with boss 1200 watts amp and two Pyle subs

i have a soundstream rubicon 1.1000d i just took out of my truck couple weeks back.people can hate on these amps all they want but they will do what the op wants.i was satisfied with it pushing a d6 10 @ 1 ohm...ill let it go for 80 plus shipping.and no,im not a scammer lol
I will have to think about this are you close to California? If not the shipping might not work for me.

I still am wondering if I need to make connections to both coils on the sub or is just the one set fine? Never got an answer but would that produce weak bass?

im in TN and shipping isnt going to be that much.probably 100 shipped guaranteed to make it unless a truck runs over it.....up to you as im in no need to sell it....always hook up all coils but before you do that.read up on coil configs how to and such.you are going to have to learn anyway so might as well start now.

I've been doing some research in the little time I joined. It's amazing that my 7 year old kenwoods were basically plug and play compared to this new stuff. For two sub setups do u need a 2 channel amp or can I just splice wire after it leaves the amp to the subs. I notice most of these class d amps are single channel.

You have to hook up both voice coils or it will not work properly. Honestly don't go with Boss, go used or save up a bit more and go with a brand that actually puts out the power they claim. From what I have read PPI puts out some decent amps for reasonable prices, Soundstream is not great but MUCH better than Boss.

2 subs will work on a class d 1 channel amp.fine the ohm load that is stable to that amp and wire together both subs that will equal to whatever the amp is stable at.the rubicon is 1 ohm stable so for example two subs that are wired to 2 ohms each wired together give you 1 ohms...like 4 ohms plus 4 ohms equal 2ohms....2+2=1 ohm so on and so forth.you could run several subs on a one channel amp so long as you dont exceed the final ohm load of what the amp can handle.

Oh ok but I would have to wire the subs to each other and run wire from the amp to just one sub?

Better than boss. Still won't do rated unless it's seeing 16v
it was pushing my d6 with ease to its limits and the d6 likes at least 1000 rms each.dude on youtube clamped a 1600 and it showed it put out 1600.clean ? who knows.just trying to help this guy out on a budget with a great budget amp.the guts on my 1000 looks beefier than the skar 1500.you wont be turning the gain up on that rub 1.1000 unless he has 1000 rms total combine subs that can handle it.and im not talking about 600watt subs that can handle 1200 lol

you sir are so FOS.unless you are NOT talking about the rubicons.
What are yout trying to say here? SS isn't great, but its a big step up from boss. I am running a SS amp currently until my AB VFL 150.4 gets here and it sounds good and puts out good power to my door speakers.
