Super noob with boss 1200 watts amp and two Pyle subs

If you are wanting to stay budget, look for used name brand amp. Or find a good deal on a newer class D mono amp ....You only need a 600-800 watt RMS amp for those subs ...

So is it the class d that makes the difference. I notice my old amp was of that class and these new ones are class a/b. I originally searched class d and they were all in the 150 dollar range. I know the boss isn't the best but this isn't a main car probably gonna be sold or given away soon and I'm really just trying to swap out a 7 year old system that went bad. Would the bump to the 2000 watts show a significant increase?

look around, I just sold half a dozen name brand, solid amps for under 100 bux that could have ran those subs great ....they are out there, you just gotta look ...

Because the wiring is already laid the box is already there and the car is pretty bass deficient without em. I figure 100 bucks and ten minutes worth of work with a screw driver isn't that bad.

Do you have any more? The one you posted says it has around 250 rms.

Yea, the kenwood slipped in there. it's 300rms @ 2ohms, and you need 1 ohm stable...sorry.. but the other three would work great for you ....

i have a soundstream rubicon 1.1000d i just took out of my truck couple weeks back.people can hate on these amps all they want but they will do what the op wants.i was satisfied with it pushing a d6 10 @ 1 ohm...ill let it go for 80 plus shipping.and no,im not a scammer lol

I'd jump on that SS amp from Bass Addict .....it will destroy any boss amp made in the last 20 yrs ...

And absolutely NO to any riot series boss amps .... that amp would be lucky to make 400 w rms power ....
