Sundown Vs Orion, everyone else

what i want to see is a competiton format where you burp 30-35-40-45-50-55-60 who even has the highest and flattest number wins. not just Im loud @ 28hz but cant play 60hz, just like i didn't care to build a car that burped @ 70hz..

It just means they are better as fans/blow dryers than subs.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
look im not hating. if thats your thing cool. im just not impressed. tell me how low that miss elloit-can you work it

2 10s on a cheap *** lanzar 1000 on this song did 142+ on the stiffest audio control ive ever seen on music. i thnk i was 15 at the time. people SWORE i had 2 18s. lol it was farily flat. had it crossed @ 65 i think(CD player xover) and it droped very low..

where you at massive. id like to see a video of your system on that song.. ill bet it slams

Don't bother, people will just day that anything above 50hz is supposed to be handled by door speakers or that its not even considered bass. Youd be surprised how much musical information most people's setups are missing. Its like a gigantic hole 50 to 120hz in 90% of the setups ive heard and they think they play flat and arent missing anything.

The comps I go to there's a part where u have to play three freq 10hz apart...

24hz -155db

35hz -160.5db

45hz-155db

That's with four nsv3 15s... Not bad if u ask me.

every time i tune a system getting that 60-120 hold is one of the hardest things. like you said bottom heavy no real midbass having *** fools. you would need 4 8" midbass drivers with 600 watts a side to keepup with 2 ****** 15s.

naw i installed the system and i was having a hard time finding something besides techmaster PEB that would get that low, and someone at a show was like try this..

missy do go hard though.. dont hate on missy. **** loves the bang too!

I know. It's sad that it's the cool thing to do now. Even when I wanted to be as loud as possible I wouldn't give up that much. I didn't care if it would score higher.
for years ive been trying to make ultra high SPL low distortion systems. they really didnt have the drivers back when i was in it and people always told me it was impossible. thats why i started building drivers.

now im devloping a completly new type of suspension thats going to change the way we look at drivers.

i can change the stifness by montering the output rails on the amp to match impedance curves almost instantly and do all kind of cool things that are just not possible with current designs. i just cant afford the ******* patient fees. it has a few down falls. its expensive to incoprorate and needs some addiontial circurty for control aspects and rebuilding drivers to incorporate the technologly but it will increase mechanical limits and can alter the way we look at speakers..

Why don't you just learn how to install.

Music itself can have distortion. And you won't get 140 plus and maintain imaging.
dont dig yourself another hole. imaging isnt about loudness. the perception of imaging is a few things. keeping phase distortion low keeping seperation of signals uniform/linear and having ideal channel seperation highend to give the actual stereo seperation.

You forgot about reflections and the speakers themselves moving with that kind of vibration. Also for what it would take to keep up enough to still detail the spatial effects the phase would be ****

I'll keep digging

you want to learn or you going to keep repeating what i said? phase distortion is refracting/ reflection group delay etc..
